    British Football School’s Afterschool training has been developed from the English Football Association’s training guidelines and tailored to complement the school’s Physical Education curriculum. We offer a number of ways to train in schools, we provide:

    • Lunchtime clubs.
    • Afterschool clubs.
    • School team training.

  • Boys and girls aged 6 to 11 welcome, all levels of ability, all coaches FA/UEFA qualified and criminal checked.

  • Sessions take place indoors or outdoors depending on the weather, so the correct sports clothing should be worn. This includes PE or football kit (sweatshirt, sweatpants, shirt, shorts and socks) or tracksuits and football boots (NO PLASTIC OR  METAL STUDS) and training shoes. We ask parents to consider providing children with shin pads to prevent any injuries as well. Please also bring a non-fizzy drink and healthy snack.

    • My son has been training at the British Football School Development Centre. The weekend training is very appropriate (time and location wise) and will supplement my son’s football development alongside our Moscow-based Russian Football club.

      A former Manchester City FC and Liverpool FC trainer, Richard has worked with children from the age of 3 to 11 groups in Greater Manchester, England. Richard has also established a community football team for adults and trained children in Europe, America and Africa. Having spent over a decade working in youth football, Richard now wants to pass on all that he has learnt to a new generation of players.

      Richard is also involved in charity work; having set up a UK based charity the raises money for disadvantaged Russian children, iOrphan.org. His charity commitments have seen Richard undertake a number of challenges, including running a number of marathons across Russia in 2011 with 200 Russian volunteers.

      Working across the north of England, James has provided specialist training to young children from the ages of 2 to 11. Working at variety of locations, James has provided physical education lessons to children in nurseries, primary schools and autistic schools. His training experience spans over 10 years – in the UK and USA, and he has played for his local football team for 13 years. James is also an avid Manchester City fan and season ticket holder.

      James has previously led training sessions at a Young Offenders Institute to provide key life skills to young adults. Not only did James train their football team, but he ran a mentoring programme so they could become sports trainers.

      Jake has worked with children aged 5-16, mostly in a school setting. Having previously worked for Watford FC Sports and Education Trust as a community coach. Jkae also worked as a sport co-ordinator for a U.K based language school, planning daily activities for 180 children from across Europe.

      Jake has also previously set up his own grassroots mens football team. Having a group of under 16s progress into the mens game. With his guidance, the team have progressed into a semi-professional team acting as route for progression for young players in the community.

      Nastya has worked for five years in Russia and Germany as a football coach for children aged from 3 to 15. Nastya has played football in University Leagues across Russia and the Russian Womens League.

      Every year Nastya volunteers her time to be involved in the ART Football charity event, which raises money for Russian orphans. Fluent in German and learning Hebrew, Nastya is the translator the German and Israeli teams.
